Why Water Fighters

We're a Phoenix restoration company that answers the phone at 3 a.m. and is standing in your hallway within the hour. That's the short version.
The longer version is about what happens after that first hour — because most of what goes wrong with a water loss doesn't go wrong during the emergency. It goes wrong in the weeks after, when the drying company is gone, the insurance file is half-finished, and you're calling contractors to find out who's going to put your kitchen back.
One Team, Call to Rebuild
Most restoration companies do mitigation. They extract the water, run the fans, take their photos, and collect the mitigation portion of your claim. Then they hand you a list of contractors and move on.
We do both halves. The crew that shows up the night your pipe fails is the crew that hangs the last cabinet door six weeks later.
That's not a marketing structure — it changes the actual work in three ways. Every cut we make during dry-out gets made by people who know they're the ones repairing it, so we cut clean and no larger than the moisture readings require. The insurance file stays whole, with one scope covering extraction through finish work instead of two estimates from two companies that an adjuster has to reconcile. And there's no dead gap between "the structure is dry" and "a contractor can start in six weeks," because materials get ordered while the drying equipment is still running.

Certified, Licensed, and Insured
The credentials, plainly:
IICRC Certified (certification 70192944). The IICRC sets the technical standards this industry works to — the S500 water damage standard is why we dry to verified moisture readings instead of pulling equipment when it looks dry.
Arizona ROC 324471 and ROC 324468. Two licenses, because we hold both the mitigation and the general contracting credentials. That's what makes the one-team model legal, not just convenient.
EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm. Required for disturbing surfaces in homes built before 1978, and a fair number of Phoenix homes qualify.
Restoration Industry Association member.
Licensed, bonded, and insured. Certificates of insurance naming your building or management entity as additional insured are available on request, usually same day.
How We Handle Insurance
Most of our jobs are insurance claims, and the claim is where people feel the most out of control. Here's how we reduce that.
The estimate you get is the estimate your insurance company gets. One document. Not a homeowner version and a carrier version with different numbers — the same scope, in the format adjusters actually process.
We document like the file will be argued over, because sometimes it is. Moisture readings on every affected surface, photographs before and during, daily drying logs, and an inventory of affected materials. When an adjuster questions a line item, the answer is already in the file.
We bill your carrier directly and work with every major one. You file the claim — it's your policy — and we handle the paperwork from there.
And one thing worth knowing: in Arizona, you choose the restoration company. Your carrier may suggest a preferred vendor. You are not required to use them.
The Guarantee
The last step of every job is a walkthrough with you, room by room, against the original scope sheet. Anything that doesn't match gets corrected at our cost before the job closes.
That's the whole guarantee. It isn't a certificate; it's the final item on the schedule.

What We're Not
We don't do plumbing repair. We find the failure, dry the damage, and coordinate with your plumber — but the pipe fix is licensed plumbing work and we stay in our lane.
We don't do roofing. If a monsoon storm opened your roof, we tarp it, dry the interior, and work alongside your roofer.
We don't sell mold remediation to people who don't need it. If testing comes back clean, we say so and you owe us nothing.
And we're not a national franchise. There's no corporate call center routing your emergency to a dispatcher three states away. You get people who know which Phoenix neighborhoods still have cast iron laterals and which subdivisions were plumbed with polybutylene.
Where We Work

Common Questions
Are you locally owned?
Yes. Locally owned and operated in the Phoenix Valley, not a franchise of a national brand.
How many reviews do you have?
4.9 stars across 129+ Google reviews. All of them are on our reviews page and on the Google profile itself, unedited.
Do you subcontract the rebuild?
The core mitigation and reconstruction work is our own licensed crew. Specialty trades — plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC — are licensed partners we coordinate, and we tell you who's doing what before work starts.
Are your technicians background checked?
Yes. Crews are employees, uniformed, and in marked trucks. If someone shows up you're not expecting, call the office before letting them in.
What does IICRC certification actually mean?
It's the industry's technical standards body. IICRC-certified means our technicians are trained and tested against published standards for water damage (S500) and mold remediation (S520), and that we dry to verified measurements rather than by feel.
Do you work weekends and holidays?
Yes — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at the same response promise. Water doesn't observe holidays and neither do we.
What if you find something unexpected mid-job?
It gets documented, priced, and approved before work continues. Discovering hidden mold behind a wall is common; discovering a surprise line item on your final invoice should never be.
